Buzz and Mama are talking about the Larsen family.
Mama: ... and Samantha.
Buzz: New baby!
Mama: Yes, Samantha has a new baby sister, doesn't she?
Buzz: From Costco?
Zanzi is at Papa's work talking with a grownup.
Grownup: Are you here doing work with your daddy?
Zanzi: Yeah, we're doing pretty boring stuff.
Zanzi and Papa are driving home in the car.
Zanzi: When I get home do you mind if I watch Cash Cab?
Zanzi: Can we smoke in our house?
(Mama in my head: where does she know about smoking?)
Zanzi: Mama's black and she's not Chinese!
We are all sitting at the dinner table having dinner. Zanzi wants to give us a lesson so she stands on her chair and gives us a lesson. Papa and I are laughing so hard we only get a snippet written down.
Zanzi: The Lord of Jesus Smith and Joseph in the same ward clean up people's room.....
Buzz: ....was sad.
Mama: Who was sad?
Buzz: Somebody.
Zanzi: No, Jesus was in the other story.
Mama: Why was he sad?
Zanzi: He lost his lightbulb but then he found it in his pocket.

Can you imagine the incredibly insane conversations they must have with each other at night?
