We hadn't been in the car for very long.
Zanzi: (whining) I just want to get out right now! My back hurts all this going and sitting and riding and sitting and all that kind of stuff.
Mama had been pointing out the horse that we were passing to distract the girls.
Mama: Oh, there was a horse and he was going poo!
Zanzi: (Excitedly disappointed) One of the horses was going poo? I missed it!
We were at Ham's house and Ham was showing the girls his back patio.
Ham: My back yard is not as cool as your back yard.
Zanzi: That's too bad.

I hope our little girl will be as interested in horse poo as yours are and bugs too. I'm really sorry that we weren't able to catch up with you guys when we were on the mainland.
